VIDEO: Auburn True Freshman QB Bo Nix Tosses Game-Winning TD Against Oregon to Cap Awesome Comeback

Auburn's defense shut Oregon DOWN in the second half, turning a pedestrian first half effort in every respect into a performance that had a shot at a comeback. If not for true freshman Bo Nix, a youngster with Auburn blood, the group might not have completed the task ahead of them. With under 20 seconds left, Nix, already in field goal range, hit Seth Williams near the end zone. Williams outmuscled the Oregon DB tasked with containing him, and just like that, Auburn snatched victory from the jaws of defeat.

Nix, of course, has now been in the building for both Auburn matchups with the Ducks, as well as both Auburn VICTORIES.

When the two teams locked horns in Cam Newton's 2011 BCS Title Game triumph, a young Nix was in the stands, repping the team his father once bled for (Patrick Nix was on the QB roster at Auburn from 1992-1995).

The tradition continues, remarkably.
