VIDEO: Ben Zobrist, Willson Contreras and Javy Baez Fuel Cubs 9th Inning Comeback Against Cardinals

Yes, you read that correctly. Despite showing next to no life against Jack Flaherty and the St. Louis Cardinals on Thursday night, the Cubs mounted a comeback once Carlos Martinez entered the game. Ben Zobrist drove in a run to narrow the Cards advantage to 4-2.

Javier Baez would surprisingly enter the game as a pinch-runner, and eventually score the tying run on a Jayson Heyward liner.

We frankly can't predict what Joe Maddon will do next. Both Anthony Rizzo and Baez were considered out long-term, only to show up when the Cubs need them most. There's some magic happening at Wrigley.
