VIDEO: 2019 Alex Cora Press Conference About Carlos Beltran Definitely Has New Meaning Now

Evidence is beginning to mount against the Houston Astros that all but confirms their unsavory sign-stealing allegations. On Sunday, their evident setup was revealed in a clip from their 2017 World Series documentary. Though we don't (yet) have more proof to convey, we have come across a telling video of former Houston bench coach Alex Cora extolling former Astro Carlos Beltran in an interview during the 2019 London Series against the New York Yankees. While this clip might not have meant much at the time, it now possesses some significance.

Can we get a count as to how many times Cora acclaimed Beltran's "attention to detail?" How about that wink?

Call us crazy, but it sure sounds like the Red Sox skipper is referring back to their time in H-Town when, of course, the Astros' sign-stealing antics were seemingly at their peak. You can't even deny the smirk on Cora's face when he first mentions Beltran's name.

The fact that Cora, Beltran, and AJ Hinch are all connected to the scandal makes this interview appear a bit problematic for the Astros.

Please don't try to claim that Cora was merely championing Beltran's baseball know-how and former role as a special advisor to New York Yankees general manager Brian Cashman.

Cora even hesitated at first before stating that he "knows how (Beltran) works."

Even Red Sox homers can admit how sketchy their skipper looks in this clip and it's only a matter of time until MLB's investigation determines the role that he and Beltran played in 2017.
