One of the most extended losing jags in college football is officially kaput.

Though the scarring from 15 straight years of losing to your rival is unlikely to heal anytime soon, the University of Virginia Cavaliers rode the momentum of their impressive season to an incredibly rare victory over the Hokies in their biggest game of the campaign (and their recent history).

On the strength of the win, the 'Hoos are the seventh different ACC Coastal Division champion in seven years.

Dare you to find more parity than that! Of course, all these Coastal squads have fallen prey to powerhouses like Florida State, Louisville and Clemson over the past few years, but a division championship is a division championship!

And to close it out, how about a strip-sack fumble touchdown up three?!

Gorgeous.

Now, Virginia fans can finally relish the additional motivation that Virginia Tech defensive coordinator Bud Foster dropped on 'em prior to the game kicking off. His words to his defense the night before their battle with the 'Hoos, his last-ever matchup with his rival, reek of disrespect.

Virginia got the win, the streak-breaker, and the division title. Now, they can finally join the rest of their Coastal foes in a remarkable and quirky club.
