VIDEO: UVA Head Coach Bronco Mendenhall Unleashes Absolute Joy by 'Breaking the Rock' in Locker Room
By Adam Weinrib

Bronco Mendenhall just brought Charlottesville, VA a unique type of joy that they hadn't felt in 15 tries prior. But with that boisterous feeling bubbling just below the surface among the rostered players following the final whistle, Mendenhall unleashed the celebration in full by breaking the rock, as per tradition, following a rousing speech.

This dude can COACH.
If you'd like an extra angle of Mendenhall officially ending the hex and unleashing the champagne and water -- and we recommend it! -- look no further.

This was the first 'Hoos victory over the Hokies since an unranked Virginia team faced off against a No. 21 VaTech squad in Charlottesville exactly 16 years ago, on Nov. 29, 2003. Something about this date, we guess!
It's taken Mendenhall a long time to get here, but he's proven this season that he's one hell of a coach (and he knows how to party). His time at BYU for a decade from '05-'15 brought with it plenty of success, but this type of curse-breaking seems like it was on another level. Well-deserved.
