The Onion Destroys Tim Tebow With Perfectly Ridiculous Headline
By Jerry Trotta

Tim Tebow made headlines (again) on Friday during an appearance on ESPN's "First Take" by reiterating his stale opinion that collegiate athletes should NOT be paid. He issued the opinion in light of a California bill that would potentially allow student athletes to profit from their likenesses without losing their amateur status.
When you're a celebrity of Tebow's stature, you are probably used to getting eviscerated in your mentions on Twitter for any normal post, but the quarterback-turned-Mets minor leaguer was hit with a troll job for the ages shortly after the clip went viral, and he won't have to search his mentions to find it-- checkout the Onion Sports Network putting the Florida Gators Heisman Trophy winner in an absolute body bag with a lethal headline.

It's uttelry canon just how seriously Tebow takes his faith, so what better aspect of his life to come at in order to really hit him where it hurts?
What's even greater than the headline, however, is the content beneath it.
“I know he’s put in a lot of prayers and missionary work," read a portion of The Onion's sarcastic, satirical article, "but when it comes to getting to heaven, Tebow just doesn’t have the raw spirituality you need."

Thank you, come again.
Sorry, Tebow, but it's going to take a WHILE for you to come back from this profound L.
