Terrence Clarke Makes Subtle Recruiting Pitch to Sway Purdue Transfer Matt Haarms Towards Kentucky

Some non-coronavirus sports news dropped Monday afternoon that has the college basketball world talking. Seemingly out of nowhere, Purdue center Matt Haarms entered his name into the transfer portal. The 7-3 center will be eligible next year as a graduate transfer.
The frenzy to recruit the Dutch center is underway. His abilities while standing 7-3 make him a hot commodity and his name is already linked to several top programs. A tweet asking Kentucky fans if they would like to land Haarms was quoted by Wildcats recruit Terrence Clarke. His message was simple.

Clarke is a 6-7 guard and is rated at the top of the 2020 class. He may already be visualizing himself throwing countless alley-oops to Haarms. If anything, Clarke is endearing himself to the Kentucky faithful with his tweet.

The competition to land Haarms will be tough. However, Kentucky should be atop his list if he is looking to be on a great team in 2020. Clarke's simple tweet could lead to other Wildcats players chiming in and showing the former Purdue center he is truly wanted in Lexington.
