Nick Saban Should Be Embarrassed That He's Getting Dominated by Protégé Jeremy Pruitt in 2021 Recruiting

History is no doubt being made in Knoxville right now. Plain and simple, the job Jeremy Pruitt and his staff are doing with the 2021 class has been unreal.

Following the commitment of offensive lineman Colby Smith on Monday, Tennessee has continued its rise in the rankings, jumping up all the way to No. 2 for '21. Multiple 5-star studs on board and more? Take a bow, Mr. Pruitt.

The additions of defensive end Dylan Brooks and outside 'backer Terrence Lewis have fired up the fan base, but as you can see above, the verbal pledges have been raining in for the Vols. To make things even sweeter for Pruitt is Tennessee beating out schools like Georgia, LSU and Alabama to land these guys.

Pruitt giving it to Nick Saban has to be a great feeling too. The two were close when Pruitt was at Alabama, but he knew he'd have an uphill climb to try and compete with his former boss in terms of recruiting. As of this writing, Tennessee's 2021 class is No. 2 in the rankings and Alabama's is No. 57 with only three commits...

There's a shift going on in the SEC right now. Vols Nation has every right to be jacked up with what Pruitt and his coaches are getting done. What a time for Tennessee.
