Tennessee has been winning at the recruiting game so far in the 2021 cycle, and it doesn't look like they'll be stopping any time soon. After adding 5-star defensive end Dylan Brooks on Sunday, news broke Thursday that Jeremy Pruitt and the Volunteers have added another coveted defensive piece.

Terrence Lewis, a linebacker from Opa Locka, Florida, announced that he has committed to UT on Thursday afternoon.

After linebacker Darrell Taylor was drafted in the 2020 NFL Draft at No. 48 overall by the Seattle Seahawks, Tennessee was left with a hole to fill. Lewis will fill that role starting next year -- and then some.

Lewis is the No. 1 outside linebacker in the 2021 class according to 247Sports, and he will bring plenty of athleticism and talent with him to Knoxville. Jeremy Pruitt will have a tremendous opportunity to shape the 6-1, 200-pound 'backer into the next big thing.

It's just another recruiting success in what has become a string of them for Big Orange.

After going 5-3 in conference play and 8-5 overall last season, Tennessee's strong recruiting class gives them a chance to climb higher in the SEC East in the years to come. The Vols have also added 4-star defensive back Kamar Wilcoxson and 4-star wide receiver Julian Nixon to help round out their 2021 group.
