Tennessee Fan Posts Bizarre Craigslist Ad for Female Companion to Accompany Him to Vols Games

'Tis the season for weird expressions of college football fandom.

We now have one of the sketchier posts the internet could have provided to help us start the season right, as a Tennessee Volunteers fan posted a Craigslist ad in search of a woman to accompany him to Volunteers games. You see, his girlfriend recently broke up with him.

But this isn't just about having someone to help him use his season tickets. No, there are a lot of rules this lucky lady is going to have to follow.

There are a number of things just terribly wrong and terribly weird about this post, with the first being this: why does this fan have to be a woman if the guy is "not looking for a relationship"?

If we're talking about a big group of couples that tailgates together, surely the rest of the crew would understand if any manner of friend accompanied this Craigslist guy to the game. Clearly, this man is looking for more than "merely a lady that would be interested in accompanying me to a game or two."

Also, this woman would have to commit to eight hours on any given gameday? No exceptions? Seems a little aggressive if you ask me. This guy makes tailgating sound like an extreme sport, not a good time before the game.

This guy clearly has no leverage, yet he's acting as if he has all of it. Odds are that he ends up going to the games by himself given the questionable vibe of his post.

But hey, at least he'll have some extra room to sit comfortably at the game with an empty seat beside him.
