Tate Martell Reportedly Not Present at Miami's Game vs FIU as Rumors Swirl
By Mark Powell

Could Tate Martell be planning yet another move into the transfer portal?
Martell's switched commitments, schools and now even positions. The former Buckeye and now Hurricanes skill position player just cannot seem to find a home, and amid further speculation that he's unhappy at the U with Manny Diaz, Martell reportedly wasn't present at Miami's game against FIU.

Still, per Dan Enos, there is no impending controversy with Martell at Miami. He's finally settled, or so they say.
“Tate is a guy that has settled into where he is going to be. He has had a little bit of a roller coaster situation about positions and things like that. He has been a guy that has practiced really hard and been diligent about his preparation the last couple weeks,” Enos said.

Yet, this was before he apparently skipped Miami's latest game. Martell was supposed to be inserted into the offense late this season, but the Canes supposedly haven't gotten to the 'special package' Diaz, Enos and Co. put together for him.
If Martell is available, it might do Miami some good to see what they have in him before the season's over. For now, though, he's nowhere to be found.
