Taco Tuesday may be a staple in many American households, but nothing tastes better than a sweet dish of revenge. And on Sunday, ex-Dallas Cowboys defensive end Taco Charlton will have a chance to taste how sweet revenge can actually be.

The former first-round pick was claimed off waivers by the Miami Dolphins on Thursday ahead of the team's matchup against the Cowboys on Sunday.

Charlton was a disappointment in Dallas after being selected 28th overall in the 2017 NFL Draft. In 27 games, Charlton has compiled 46 tackles, four sacks and one forced fumble, and he had yet to feature in 2019.

The change of scenery may do wonders for the 24-year-old. Charlton should get plenty of reps on a rebuilding Dolphins team that has recently undergone a mass exodus of talent.

It was clear that a separation was needed when the former Michigan star seemingly asked for his release through Twitter, and there was even an incident in which a Cowboys official called him "soft."

Defensive-minded Dolphins head coach Brian Flores may be able to get through to Charlton in a way that Cowboys coaches could not. There's obviously great potential in Charlton, and a new coaching staff may be able to tap his potential by showing faith in the defensive lineman.
