Skip Bayless Whining About the Clippers When They Were Down 7 With a Whole Quarter Left is So Embarrassing

The Clippers had a chance to remain unbeaten against the Lakers in the regular season's third rendition of the Battle for LA on Sunday, but lost 112-103 in a closely-contested game. With almost an entire quarter remaining, however, Skip Bayless had harsh words for the Clippers and their effort despite trailing by just seven points, a three-possession game.

With an eternity left in the game, Bayless lost all faith for no reason and suggested the Clippers were throwing in the towel early. By the time he typed that out and pressed send, the Clippers could have cut the deficit down to four points with literally one shot.

The FS1 personality somehow thought that Clippers weren't motivated because of the "early" 12:30 PST tip-off, even though they were playing in their usual time zone AND arena. In his mentions and replies, Bayless' followers called him out for this blatant malarkey.

After taking a four-point lead into the locker room at halftime, the Clippers were outscored by eight points in the third quarter and Bayless lost all hope. He's a Kawhi Leonard fanboy at heart, but Skip's excuses for the Clippers' woes won't cut it.
