Shea Patterson Responds to Twitter Hoax Calling Out Justin Fields and Jim Harbaugh

If you were among those duped by an alleged Shea Patterson tweet that surfaced earlier on Sunday in which he called out his own head coach, the man himself would like to toss a hefty dose of cold water on that nonsense.

No, Patterson didn't tweet it, nor did he delete it. In fact, he balked at the suggestion as hard as possible, all while deflecting a thoroughfare of nonsense.

Other than the rampant rumors that he was busy spending a normal Sunday attacking QBs in his conference, it seems Patterson had a solid day; after all, he birdie'd the 18th hole after a long day on the links.

Luckily, he had enough energy left over to thoroughly counteract the photoshop job that had previously been attributed to his name.

And yes, the end of his handle did look a little wonky in the "deleted" tweet, we'll give him that. In other words, nothing to see here and plenty of work to do for Michigan to live up to the hype.
