The way in which the NFL conducts their drug testing has always been questionable. Some players claim they've never had to perform a drug test for the league, while others get tested multiple times per year.

You usually don't hear about punters or kicker getting the call for a test. But, when you're as big and strong as New Orleans Saints punter Thomas Morstead, getting drug tested is inevitable.

The 33-year-old punter has never had to take a test before. But, after posting an impressive workout video of him doing gymnast pull ups, the NFL's suspicion resulted in Morstead getting tested.

The video from Morstead was to promote his partnership with New Orleans-based Main Squeeze Juice Co. Shortly after posting it, he received a letter from the NFL for a randomly-scheduled drug test, though no one feels that this is truly unsystematic.

It's a bit strange that the NFL would administer a test after a video like this, it's not like the punter is throwing around heavy weight in a gym, or even looking particularly shredded.

Hopefully he doesn't receive anymore "random" drug tests during the year after he pins a few punts inside the 20.
