Russell Westbrook's Response to Simple Question From Reporter Was Completely Unnecessary

Houston Rockets superstar point guard Russell Westbrook is an emotional player, frequently getting into scuffles with opponents and even the occasional member of the media.

According to NBA insider Fred Katz, Westbrook was asked what he did during his off day following the loss to the Warriors. Brodie's response makes you think he didn't get what he wanted for Christmas.

Some people were quick to defend Westbrook here, saying what he does during his time off is no one's business but his own. Couldn't he have delivered a more respectful response, though?

Westbrook has had plenty of issues with the media in the past, which makes this comment of his less surprising. Just ask Thunder reporter Berry Tramel about that.

Westbrook is a dynamic talent, possessing the skills to average numbers on the court thought to be borderline impossible. However, his poor attitude (and very poor shooting numbers) is a main reason why many players and fans dislike him, and why the Rockets may not advance very far in the NBA playoffs.
