VIDEO: Russell Westbrook Somehow Picks up 4 Fouls in First Quarter vs Clippers

Wednesday night's captivating NBA matchup between the Los Angeles Clippers and Houston Rockets will be deprived of one of several superstars for a significant chunk of time, and not for the reason you might think. Russell Westbrook somehow committed FOUR personal fouls before the first quarter even concluded. The fourth foul was staggeringly tacky, but it will likely see Brodie on Mike D'Antonio's bench until the third quarter.

You can certainly argue that Rodney McGruder desperately locked his arm into the torso of Westbrook so that he couldn't get by him, but the referees found Russ at fault for trying to get around the press.
Whatever the case, this could serve as the first and only time a player is called for four personal fouls in less than a quarter of action all season long. Especially a player the caliber of Westbrook.
