VIDEO: Remembering When Dennis Rodman Freaked Out and Kicked a Camera Guy in the Groin
By Michael Luciano

In terms of playing style and personality, Chicago Bulls forward Dennis Rodman was one of the most unique athletes we've seen in NBA history. Rodman was usually able to keep his volatile emotions in check when the lights were on and the Pistons, Spurs, or Bulls needed a win. That changed in 1995 against the Minnesota Timberwolves, as Rodman kicked cameraman Eugene Amos in the groin after he struggled to get up following a hard fall.

Rodman was forced to pay Amos $200,000 after the incident. He lost around $1 million for this act after he was fined $25,000 and suspended for 11 games.
Rodman was suspended and fined over two dozen times during his pro career, but this rough night in Minnesota stands out as the ugliest in his entire career.

Rodman at his best was the perfect tertiary star and the ultimate team player. Rodman at his worst was someone that a team couldn't wait to get rid of due to his volatility. This incident, unfortunately, showed his less desirable side.
