Refs Missed Clear Oklahoma Penalty That Should've Given Baylor First Down on Game-Tying FG
By Sean Facey

The Oklahoma Sooners might already be killing themselves on penalties in the Big 12 Championship game, but they should count themselves lucky that they managed to get away with this one.
The officials missed a clear and obvious leverage penalty on the Baylor Bears' game-tying field goal in the fourth quarter that would have given them a first down and a few more chances at a go-ahead touchdown.

Of all the possible times to miss this call, a championship game that has playoff implications is certainly one of the worst. This non-call could prove to be a massive swing in Oklahoma's favor.
These two teams have been going back and forth all game long, and the potential to kill off some clock and snag an extra four points could have been a major difference-maker for the Bears.

Instead, they had to settle for the kick, despite the fact that they should have earned the first.
It's safe to say that if the Sooners end up winning, this call will be looked at as a major factor in their victory.
