The Boston Red Sox, coming off a series loss at home to the Houston Astros, are about to embark on a seven-game road trip beginning in Toronto this week. They sit 4.5 games out of first in the AL East heading into play today. The Blue Jays are coming home after splitting their last series on the road against the White Sox, receiving a huge weekend from top prospect Vladimir Guerrero Jr.

In the first game of the series, veteran journeyman Edwin Jackson takes the mound for Toronto, against Red Sox LHP David Price. This will be the third meeting of the season between the two AL East rivals, with the teams having split the first series, a two-game set in Boston in early April.
Red Sox Lineup
Leading off for Boston is Andrew Benintendi, followed by Mookie Betts and first baseman Mitch Moreland. Xander Bogaerts is starting at shortstop and hitting cleanup, with Rafael Devers and Michael Chavis backing him up.

Price makes his return from the IL and will start Monday's clash. He's logged a 1-2 record in six starts with a 3.75 ERA and 42 strikeouts across 36 innings pitched.
Blue Jays Lineup
Leading off for the Blue Jays is second baseman Eric Sogard, with veteran infielder Brandon Drury batting second. Justin Smoak will hit third with Randall Grichuk in the cleanup spot.

Jackson will be making his second start of the year for the Jays. The right-hander surrendered 2 earned runs and 6 hits across 5.0 innings in his first appearance this year.
