The Las Vegas Raiders added another cornerback near the end of the fourth round of the NFL Draft on Saturday when they selected Amik Robertson out of Louisiana Tech with the No. 139 pick. Listed at 5-8, 187 pounds, the former Bulldog is undersized for an NFL corner, but -- as evidenced by this beautifully-timed hit stick -- he carries as much thunder as any defensive back in the 2020 class.

The slow-motion version at the end of the highlight is simply as good as it gets in the big hit department. Robertson lowered his shoulder an absolutely popped the Southern Miss' running back.

The newest Raider isn't just a one-trick pony, either. He was one of the most productive cornerbacks in all of college football across his time at LA Tech. Robertson was named a first-team All-American last year after leading Conference USA with a whopping 21 pass deflections. Since 2017, the 21-year-old intercepted 14 passes.

Mark our words: Robertson's undeniable competitive edge will force the Raiders to find a role for him as a rookie.
