The Pitt Panthers have some momentum, as they've won three in a row. This includes a victory over the 15th-ranked UCF Knights. Pitt was able to hold off Duke last week, scoring a touchdown in the final minute of the game.

Syracuse came into this season with a lot of hope, as they were the 22nd-ranked team in the country. However, they were blown out in back-to-back weeks by Maryland and Clemson, and after winning two in a row, they lost a close contest last week to NC State on the road, 16-10.
This is one of the longest standing rivalries in the sport, which dates back to 1916. They've played each other every year since 1955, with the Panthers having a slight edge with a 39-32-3 record over the 74 total meetings.
