The NBA action is really beginning to heat up and the Los Angeles Lakers stand atop the Western Conference.
And on Sunday, the Detroit Pistons travel to the Staples Center to take on LA in a cross-conference battle.

The Lakers currently sit at 28-7 atop the Western Conference and while watching LeBron James and Anthony Davis is amazing, all eyes will be on Kyle Kuzma. According to reports, the Lakers are listening to offers for the 24-year-old forward despite general manager Rob Pelinka being reluctant to trade him. Strong performances from Kuzma could boost his trade stock and see him moved relatively soon.
Detroit and Atlanta have been engaged in talks on a trade centered on Andre Drummond, league sources tell ESPN. No deal imminent, but Detroit is talking to Hawks and several other teams on Drummond, sources said.

On the flip side, the Detroit Pistons have been really struggling this year sitting at a poor 13-23 and could be moving key pieces soon in order to prepare for the future. Andre Drummond is one of those pieces that could be moved and will be another player to keep your eye on tonight. Expect Drummond to have a monster game in an attempt to motivate contenders to make a trade for him.
This game really should not be a close contest and Los Angeles should win easily. But you never know, we've certainly seen more shocking upsets in the NBA.
