VIDEO: Bryce Harper Literally Hit a Home Run Onto the Highway During Spring Training

The Philadelphia Phillies are hoping to be perennial contenders with Bryce Harper on the roster in his second year with the team. It seems he's settling in just fine in Year 2. Harper is off to a hot start as he hit two home runs Wednesday in Spring Training action against the Pittsburgh Pirates. One of those suckers was clubbed onto the highway. My goodness.

Either Harper hit an impossibly long home run or the road is just a bit too close to the stadium. Regardless, it was an absolute shot.

Harper had 35 home runs last year in his debut season with the Phillies and looks to be continuing that power surge heading into the new year. In the meantime, drivers may want to avoid the road outside Spectrum Field in Clearwater, Florida when Harper is at the plate.
