Penn State Suffers Another Loss on Recruiting Trail With Latest 4-Star Decommit
By Adam Godfrey

The Penn State football program has been heading in the wrong direction as of late.
Recently, Penn State lost 4-star OT Grant Toutant, who committed to Ohio State shortly after wavering on his decision to head to Happy Valley. Just days later, another 4-star talent in Aaryn Parks left the 2020 class.
On Thursday, they lost yet another highly-touted commit from their 2020 class, from the same high school as Parks nonetheless.
More bad news on the recruiting trail. Four-star CB Josh Moten has decommitted from Penn State. https://t.co/wsg8JLvNMN

Penn State is now down to only 10 commits for their 2020 recruiting class, and are without any help coming in for their secondary.

The 4-star cornerback made his decision via Twitter and announced his decommitment, although some Penn State insiders saw this one coming. The 5-11 defensive back played his high school football at the National Christian Academy, and previously narrowed his list down to five teams before making his final decision. It remains to be seen if he'll consider the same schools.
For those not on message board: Myself and colleagues were actually expecting this one, so it’s not out of nowhere or a result of Parks’ decision. Not a surprise.

Moten is the 339th ranked recruit in the 2020 recruiting class, and the 31st ranked corner back in the class. His final five teams did include Texas A&M, and Moten will take a visit to College Station next week.
Needless to say, this is a major blow for James Franklin and Co. as they try to right the ship.
