Julian Fleming Comes to Defense of Fellow OSU Commit After Penn State Fan Bashes Him
By Adam Godfrey

Even without Urban Meyer in the fold, new Ohio State head coach Ryan Day is raking in high-profile talent on the daily for the 2020 class.
However, despite all of this excitement, one sacred rule remains for college football fans during the offseason: don't tweet at recruits. Unfortunately, Penn State supporters failed miserably at this when 4-star OL Grant Toutant flipped his commitment from the Nittany Lions to Ohio State.
The decision left many fans of his original commitment enraged, and they took to social media to express that frustration, where Toutant's future teammate came to his defense.
Crazy you come on social media as an adult to try to denounce a KID making one of the biggest decisions of HIS life. https://t.co/5EJgTfFyGo

Julian Fleming, the fourth-overall recruit for the class of 2020, spoke out regarding his fellow commit on Twitter after some vulgar comments from several Penn State supporters.
The 5-star Buckeye commit stood up for Toutant to Penn State hecklers who called the offensive lineman a coward for the way the flip was handled, and claiming that he was not worthy to be a part of the Penn State family.

Toutant announced his decision to decommit from Penn State and commit to Ohio State for his college career via Twitter on Sunday, asking fans of both programs to respect his decision. He also said that he will not do any interviews regarding his decision moving forward.
The Ohio State 2020 recruiting class is top ranked in the Big Ten Conference and No. 8 nationally, an upgrade from their No. 14-ranked recruiting class for 2019.
