The New England Patriots wide receiving corps went from question mark to overpowering in just a matter of days.

First, Josh Gordon was shockingly reinstated by the NFL after his indefinite suspension last year and returned to the team this week. Next, Julian Edelman was removed from the physically unable to perform list and practiced in pads on Monday.

Now, Demaryius Thomas, who signed with the team in the offseason after being let go by the Texans, was seen at practice in pads on Tuesday.

Thomas had been on the PUP list amid his recovery from a torn Achilles he suffered late last season, but now he's good to go.

Talk about a fortunate turn of events for the defending Super Bowl champs. Tom Brady is going to have plenty of weapons to work with once the season kicks off in a few weeks-- a luxury he doesnt even necessarily need to win a ring.

Thomas was traded in the middle of last season from the Denver Broncos to the Texans. He played seven games with Houston before going down for the year; the team released him in an effort to save money considering he was recovering from a career-altering injury.

But perhaps they're kicking themselves now that Thomas is already back on the field and working to get back into game shape with Week 1 just 15 days away.
