A weekly nationwide discussion emerged surrounding the New England Patriots throughout the 2019 season that made it seem like the team wasn't pulling out wins.

We get that their dynastic run demands unreasonably high standards, but a 12-4 record speaks for itself, especially with an inept offense.

With New England gearing up for a Wild Card showdown versus the Tennessee Titans, it's only fitting that we highlight some outlandishly brisk takes that cynics uncorked throughout the season.

3. "Tom Brady is the worst quarterback in the playoffs."

Are we really going to disrespect the GOAT like this? On FS1's Speak for Yourself, former NFL player turned analyst Bucky Brooks foolishly uttered that TB12 was the worst quarterback in the playoffs. Statistically speaking, Bucky isn't wrong, but out of all the gunslingers competing for the Lombardi Trophy, can you really pick one of them over Brady in a must-score drive? He's 42 years old and still comes out on top in that debate. Expect Brady to go nuts against the Titans this weekend.

2. FS1's Foolish End of Dynasty Countdown

Sure, 2019 has had all of the makings of the end of New England's reign of terror, but we wouldn't dare take things a step beyond that. We simply know better. History has taught us to never count the Pats out. FS1, however, did exactly that this week by debuting a senseless "Patriots Dynasty Ends..." countdown, leading up to Saturday's 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff. You are as irrational as this countdown clock if you don't think FS1 will be dealt some well-deserved karma this weekend.

1. Patriots Are "Frauds"

The Patriots defense is still the best in football, and Brady is sure to have plenty of mental ammo to prove his haters wrong in the Wild Card round. That includes on Rob Parker, who claims New England is due for an early playoff exit. We've got bad news for him

Odds are, these opinions will look quite bad come Monday.
