Old NSFW Nate Diaz Tweet Proves He Always Wanted to Fight Anthony Pettis

Nate Diaz and Anthony Pettis are set to duke it out at UFC 241 on Saturday, but as it turns out, this fight has actually been nearly five years in the making.
Back in September of 2013, Diaz put out an NSFW tweet saying "Nah F--k that I'm fightin Pettis."

Regardless of how the fight turns out, at least Diaz can take solace in the fact that he got his wish.
Diaz enters the fight on Saturday with a 19-11-0 fight record, but it's been a while since he stepped into the octagon. The last time he did was 2016, when he lost to Connor McGregor by decision.
The two have been itching for a fight for some time now. This is their chance to settle their beef.

But in spite of the tweet showing how long he's been waiting to fight Pettis, he seems to be cool, calm and collected. Diaz was spotted lighting a joint just a few days ahead of the event.
The two of them have been waiting quite some time to square off against one another. As Diaz makes his return to action, Pettis looks to make him regret ever wishing for the bout.
