Brock Purdy and the Iowa State Cyclones travel to Gaylord Memorial Stadium to take on Heisman hopeful Jalen Hurts and the high-powered No. 9 Oklahoma Sooners. OU is fresh off of a bye week after losing in upset fashion to Kansas State and will be keen to get back on their horse.

The Sooners enter the game as 14.5-point favorites over their Big 12 rivals. Oklahoma needs a miracle in order to make the College Football Playoff after their shock loss two weeks ago. Expect the dynamic duo of Hurts and future first-round draft pick CeeDee Lamb to get the Sooners off to a fast start.

The Cyclones are on a mission to pull off the upset and get closer to securing themselves a bowl game, but in order to do so, they will need a near-perfect performance from sophomore quarterback Brock Purdy. On paper, this should be a runaway game in favor of the Sooners. At home under the lights coming off of a loss usually results in a cathartic blowout-- but you never know what could happen when the nation is watching.
