Ohio State 5-Star Commit Paris Johnson, Jr. Fires a Shot at Michigan Commit on Twitter

Ohio State and Michigan enjoy one of the college football's most fierce rivalries, stemming all the way from the coaching staff to brand new recruits.

And for Ohio State 5-star recruit Paris Johnson Jr, he couldn't help but get in on the action a little bit early. He dished out a jab on social media to new Michigan Wolverines recruit Braiden McGregor.

Wow. Braiden McGregor, a four-star defensive end recruit from Michigan, couldn't even go one week after committing to Michigan without finding himself entrenched in some trash talk.

Johnson Jr. was sure to welcome McGregor to the Big Ten with a reminder that things will be far from friendly when the two sides square off in conference play.

Ohio State handed Michigan a big loss in the final week of the regular season, effectively removing the Wolverines from College Football Playoff contention. And Johnson, Jr. clearly wants to continue the war.

With Ohio State holding a firm grasp on the series rivalry over the past few seasons, McGregor will need to deliver his response on the field, but the Buckeyes certainly won't make it easy on Jim Harbaugh's Wolverines.

What's more exciting? With Johnson, Jr. being an offensive tackle and McGregor at defensive end, it's more than likely that we'll see these two line up against each other at some point in their collegiate careers. This could be the spark of a memorable rivalry between two top talents.
