The Alabama Crimson Tide are still in the hunt for a spot in the College Football Playoff even after the rough couple of weeks they've had.

They are set to take on Auburn in the Iron Bowl on Saturday in a much-anticipated rivalry game between two of the SEC's best. And head Nick Saban thinks his team's upcoming contest will actually be their toughest matchup of the season.

We don't want to take anything away from No. 16 Auburn, but is Saban forgetting about the team Bama lost to barely two short weeks ago? The team that controlled the game from start to finish and is currently the top-ranked school in the country?

Although Saban did not name the Bayou Bengals, there's no reading between the lines to be done here. He was dissing them in a big way.

The six-time national champion head coach is definitely still salty about the 46-41 loss LSU handed his team in Tuscaloosa back in Week 11. No doubt about it.

The Tigers have proven they are the best team in the nation multiple times this season. If the Crimson Tide manage to sneak into the top four by the end of the year and get another shot at playing the No. 1 team in the country, you can bet that LSU will leap at the opportunity to use Saban's bulletin board material against him.
