Even with the NHL Trade Deadline approaching this upcoming Monday, there have been a flurry of moves around the league. From the Vegas Golden Knights acquiring defenseman Alec Martinez, to winger Tyler Toffoli being offloaded to the Vancouver Canucks, we've seen some big deals go down already.

But they won't be the last. There's plenty of talent being dangled by the respective clubs. Here are some predictions as to what will happen on NHL Trade Deadline Day.

5. Bruins Acquire Devils' Kyle Palmieri

The Boston Bruins have the best first line in the league in the form of David Pastrnak, Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand. Sitting atop the Atlantic Division, the Bruins have reportedly been in the market for a forward ahead of the trade deadline. The top of the line guys will be out of reach (as evidenced later in this piece), but they would get a good consolation prize in New Jersey Devils winger Kyle Palmieri. The 29-year-old has posted 20-plus goals in each of the past five seasons. That would be the steal of the deadline if the Bruins can pull it off.

4. Avalanche Acquire Senators' JG Pageau

The Colorado Avalanche boast one of the most dangerous front lines in the entire league. Yet, the team took a massive hit after Nazem Kadri and Mikko Rantanen were ruled out for multiple weeks. With the team in obvious win-now mode, they can call the Ottawa Senators for center JG Pageau, a magician in the face-off circle. He's already on pace for a career-high in points, but those numbers would significantly increase in Colorado. The Avalanche could provide Ottawa with much needed draft capital and prospects, and acquire Pageau to help them pull away from the pack in the Western Conference.

3. Hurricanes Acquire Devils' Sami Vatanen

The Carolina Hurricanes are pushing to make the Stanley Cup Finals, after falling one round short a year ago. In order to accomplish that goal, they need to address their defense. Dougie Hamilton suffered a broken leg last month, leaving a significant void at the blue line. Gaining Sami Vatanen from the New Jersey Devils makes logical sense. The Devils are looking to rebuild around Jack Hughes and Nico Hischier, and the Hurricanes have a plethora of draft assets. It's an obvious fit.

2. Avalanche Acquire Rangers G Henrik Lundqvist

Henrik Lundqvist has long solidified his status as the greatest goaltender in New York Rangers history. But now, at 36-years-old, the team has moved on, opting to start Igor Shesterkin and Alexander Georgiev over "King Henrik." The team has tried to trade Lundqvist in the past, but the goalie wouldn't waive his no-trade clause. However, with no future on the team, it's a move he must consider right now. The Avalanche would be a great landing spot for the veteran. The team is in desperate need of goaltending help, especially with Philipp Grubauer injured, so Lundqvist could fill-in as the starter and have a chance to go out on top as a Stanley Cup champion a la Ray Borque.

1. Rangers Keep Chris Kreider

The biggest name on the trade market is New York Rangers winger Chris Kreider. His speed and scoring ability is something that contending teams desire. However, Kreider has shown great chemistry with teammates Artemi Panarin and Mika Zibanejad, making it foolish for general manager Jeff Gorton to move on from him, considering the team is just six points out of a playoff spot as of Thursday. With the team and Kreider's agent currently in talks, put your money on both sides agreeing to terms on a contract extension.
