After landing both Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, the Brooklyn Nets are projecting a massive boost in revenue for the franchise. Through social media, merchandise and ticket sales, and fan engagement, the Nets will likely end up making more money than any previous year of the franchise's existence.

With a projected $40 million annual boost in revenue following the signings of KD and Kyrie, the Nets could very well move into the realm of top five most valuable NBA franchises.

Even though Kevin Durant won't play until well into the 2019-2020 NBA season, his name is still going to be wildly valuable for the Nets. The combination of Durant and Irving is unlike any level of star power the Nets have ever had.

Brett Yormark, the CEO of BSE Global, the company that oversees the operations of the Barclays Center, told the New York Post that the financial increase coming from the Nets two new stars is, "what we had hoped for."

The nature of Nets games this upcoming season is going to be unlike anything Brooklyn has ever seen before. From a business perspective, KD and Kyrie will not only boost the value of the Nets franchise domestically, but globally as well.

If the two superstars prove to work well together in Brooklyn, the value and revenue for the Nets will only continue to increase.
