Finally, some good news involving the Kansas Jayhawks men's basketball program.

Back in February, the NCAA ruled that Jayhawks big man Silvio De Sousa would be ineligible for the remainder of the 2018-2019, as well as for the 2019-2020 season after his guardian allegedly accepted money from an agent.

It seems the NCAA had a change of heart because De Sousa has been ruled eligible for the upcoming 2019-2020 season.

De Sousa won his appeal and has been reinstated. This is incredible news for the Jayhawks, who will now have one of the most impactful talents on the court after losing him for a year. Also, De Sousa will resume his playing career as a junior after submitting his appeal on April 18.

During his freshman year in the 2017-2018 season, De Sousa averaged 4.0 points and 3.7 rebounds for the Jayhawks on their run to the Final Four. His addition brings Kansas another big presence on the frontline, joining and David McCormick.
