It's starting to truly get insane.

We've heard a number of twists and turns to expect once NBA free agency officially begins at 6 p.m., but this latest buzz suggests the league's next new dominant superteam is about to form.

The Los Angeles Lakers are reportedly in the lead to sign Kawhi Leonard.

They'll need him if they want to win it all next year.

However, this should be taken with a grain of salt. Chris Broussard is definitely an NBA insider, but we know his past with not being the most trustworthy source. In other words, he's no Woj.

Then again, this has been speculated for some time. Although the Lakers are still a bit short financially in terms of being able to dish out a true max deal, it's hard to believe a superstar player wouldn't be willing to play alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis for about a $3 million pay cut even if Rob Pelinka and Co. can't clear the rest of the needed space.

Come on, there's already a mural for the guy in LA. Isn't that enough for you people to understand this is happening?!

Keep calm, NBA fans. We're not too far off from knowing the official news.
