MetLife Stadium Was Hilariously Empty 15 Minutes Before Giants-Packers

The New York Giants are squaring off against the Green Bay Packers in the early time slot on NFL Sunday. However, Giants fans apparently didn't get the memo, as MetLife Stadium was noticeably empty minutes before kickoff.

Rob Demovsky, who covers the Packers for ESPN, took a snapshot of the stadium moments before the game was set to begin, and it looks like a ghost town in East Rutherford.

It's hard to blame Giants fans for not wanting to show up, based on the team's recent play and impending blizzard. On top of that, the Packers will be extra motivated in this matchup due to their embarrassing loss to the 49ers in primetime last week.

This combination of terrible weather and a daunting opponent makes for a potentially miserable afternoon in New Jersey. Who would want to show up to that?

The people who did decide to show up for this contest don't appear to be very hopeful, either.

The 2-9 G-Men appear to have lost their fans for the season. It feels like this is becoming a December tradition for the people of New York.
