Though it's currently raining in Seattle, a ray of sunshine has been spotted in the 206 with the news Marshawn Lynch is headed to town for a physical with the team. What? Beast Mode could be returning to the Seahawks to line up behind Russell Wilson?

With C.J. Prosise and now Chris Carson out for the season, John Schneider and Co. must act fast to bring in a RB to help out this offense. Beast Mode 100% is the answer.

Of all the free agent running backs out there, who knows the Seahawks-49ers rivalry better than Lynch? No one. As soon as he arrived to Seattle in 2010 from Buffalo, Lynch instantly became a fan favorite, running his way through opposing defenders with ease.

This, of course, included the 49ers, who, along with just about every other team out there, knew just how tough it was to bring him down. Now, you're telling us the stars have aligned for Lynch to return to Seattle right before these two hated rivals meet with the NFC West championship on the line?

Where do we sign?

So, not only would Lynch be good to go for the Seahawks-49ers game, but he'd be ready to help Seattle fight its way to go on another deep postseason run? In the loss to the Cardinals on Sunday, the Seahawks' offense was anemic. While Lynch won't change things on his own, he could potentially come in and make a major difference.

The Seahawks need a running back. Lynch wants to return to his old stomping grounds. It's a perfect fit. Let's make it happen, Hawks.
