Marcus Stroman Tweets Big Statistical Jab at Yankees After Brian Cashman's Diss

As the MLB's postseason approaches, Yankees fans feel confident in their chances to win that 28th World Series title. The one concern many have, however, is the starting rotation.

Prior to the trade deadline in July, fans urged the team to aquire quality starting pitching to address that one weakness. However, GM Brian Cashman elected not to make any moves-- and then claimed on Tuesday that a pitcher like Marcus Stroman wouldn't have been a difference-maker. In response to these comments, Stroman, who was traded from the Blue Jays to the Mets during the summer, took to Twitter to take a shot right back at Cashman.

The graphic Stroman posted displays his statistics compared to the Yankees' starters, showing a huge differnce in favor of himself. The tweet has plenty of fans taking sides.

This was a clear, unvarnished way to clap back at Cashman, but the true winner in this beef won't be known until we see how the Yankees pitching does in October.
