Let's hope Kawhi Leonard is not a coffee drinker, because an LA cafe called Alfred's has imposed a ban on the two-time finals MVP for signing with the Clippers as opposed to the Lakers. The franchise that has numerous locations around the LA area, stated loud and clear on their official Instagram that Kawhi, as well as and Paul George, won't be allowed inside any of their establishments due to their offseason changes.

For what it's worth, this image is no longer available on the Alfred's IG account, and no company representative has spoken out to confirm or deny whether this proclamation will be enforeced. In any event, in a city as large as Los Angeles, I am sure both Kawhi and PG will be able to avoid going to Alfred's to get a hot cup of coffee. That shouldn't be an issue.

Fans are already riled up for what will undoubtedly be a fun rivalry at the Staples Center this season. The Lakers and Clippers will both be expected to be at the top of the Western Conference come playoff time, as each team is talent-rich and built for some serious success.

Who knows, maybe the Lakers new key to success will be a cup of Alfred's coffee before every game just to show Kawhi what could have been if he chose the purple and gold? That would be a pretty excellent marketing opportunity.
