While goalie Alisson might still be on the mend, Liverpool have likely been looking forward to a matchup of their terrific front three of Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah against a leaky Magpies back line. On paper, it's not going to end well for Steve Bruce and company.

That doesn't mean Virgil Van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and the Liverpool defense can take the afternoon off. Players like Miguel Almiron, Allan Saint-Maxim, and striker Joelinton will ensure Newcastle are always threatening for goals.

Despite the best wishes and dreams of the Magpies, Liverpool are still the heavy favorites to easily dispatch of Newcastle and once again take home three points.
