Former Lion Glover Quin Eviscerates Matt Patricia Over So-Called Arrogance

Matt Patricia could very well be in his final season as Lions' head coach, as Detroit ownership is running out of patience.

The Lions have a talented roster that, at this point, has been tailored to Patricia's needs. However, Detroit still doesn't get the respect they deserve in part because they have yet to turn talent on paper to results on the gridiron.

Former Lions safety Glover Quin has had enough.

"Coach Patricia came in and tore it all down and a lot of the guys didn't really want to buy into what he was teaching because of the way he presented it. His attitude, his persona, his arrogance, things like that made people not really want to buy into it. That was the disconnect," Quin said.

Patricia can only bank on being a Bill Belichick disciple for so long. Upon his hiring, Patricia tried to change the entire culture, which is specifically tough with the Lions who have yet to win a Super Bowl in their long, not-so-storied history.

Former players coming out of the woodwork to take shots at Patricia is a bad sign -- this isn't something we see in winning situations.

He has a year to turn thing around, or else.
