After losing four games in a row, the Lakers have bounced back, winning six in a row, and are looking to make it seven on Friday. However, they may be without superstar big man Anthony Davis, who was injured in the matchup against the Knicks on Tuesday.
The Mavericks have been on the rise as well, surprisingly sporting a record of 23-14 with Luka Doncic spearheading the charge. Doncic has leapt to new heights this year, putting up monster numbers game in and game out.
Luka Doncic has 10th 30-point triple-double, already as many as LeBron James (5), Oscar Robertson (3) and Magic Johnson (2) combined before turning 22 years old. Doncic is 20.

Doncic, 20, is averaging 29.6 points, 9.7 rebounds and 9 assists per game, and those numbers have only been put up by two other players in NBA history. What a terrifying thought for opposing teams.
This uptick in production isn't enough to give Luka the edge of perennial favorite LeBron James in All-Star votes, though.

Look for Luka to prove on Friday that he deserves the top spot by putting on another show against the Lakers.
