Kevin Durant Being Ruled Out for Game 4 Might Actually Mean the Warriors Are Screwed

The Toronto Raptors were able to take advantage of the banged-up Golden State Warriors in Game 3 and steal back the home court advantage with a commanding 14-point win. Golden State is still very much in it, but with Kevin Durant still out, they are truly vulnerable.

Durant has been once again ruled out for Game 4, a critical one for the Warriors that just might lead to their demise.

Yes, the Warriors have been hampered with injuries, but take away Andre Iguodala drilling that incredibly clutch 3-pointer in Game 2 and it's 3-0 Raptors for the series. We've been so accustomed to the Warriors' dominance and impeccable comebacks that this deficit doesn't feel real. But don't be mistaken, the Warriors dynasty is in serious danger.

With Kevon Looney likely out for the playoffs, Golden State's big man rotation is now limited to an inconsistent DeMarcus Cousins, an old Andrew Bogut, and a not-very-useful Jordan Bell. Add that to the nagging injuries of Klay Thompson and Andre Iguodala, and you pretty much only have a two-man team of Steph Curry and Draymond Green – and that just isn't going to be enough.

Durant is the Warriors' best player, and with how hurt the team is they need him more than ever. The Raptors smell blood and can nearly taste victory. If Golden State can't bounce back to win Game 4, they'll have their backs fully against the wall.
