Sideline reporter Kelsey Wingert is moving on after four years with Fox Sports South working Atlanta Braves broadcasts. On Thursday, she shared a heartfelt goodbye to the fans in Atlanta who had come to associate her inextricably with the team.

Wingert joined Fox Sports South in 2016, and has become a favorite among Braves fans. Her contract however, was not renewed for 2020. To mark the somber occasion, she took to social media to share a message of thanks.

She will be replaced on Fox Sports South by former Cubs sideline reporter Kelly Crull.

Wingert's Twitter message includes a special shoutout to longtime Braves catcher Brian McCan, whom she names as her single best memory in Atlanta. She shared a video of an interview with McCan after a walk-off RBI to defeat the Phillies to celebrate the moment.

Wingert's next destination is unknown at the time, but with the reputation and portfolio she has built in Atlanta, she is likely to have a lot of options. Her absence will certainly be felt by Braves fans far and wide.
