The Golden State Warriors (and a number of potential suitors this summer) received the worst news imaginable for Kevin Durant. The two-time NBA Finals MVP suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon during Game 5, which will sideline him for quite a while.
Kawhi Leonard knows all too well about how brutal a significant long-term injury can be after he dealt with a troubling quad issue for a majority of last season. If Leonard has shown NBA fans anything, it's that a player in his prime can overcome such a brutal setback. Durant should take solace in that as he looks to return to form on his road to recovery, regardless of what team he ends up on.
