Kareem Hunt Must Earn a Spot on Browns' Late-Season Roster
By Jerry Trotta

Not so fast, Kareem Hunt.
Did you really think that you could just walk into Cleveland and make the Browns roster no questions asked after a controversial exit from Kansas City?
Well, according to Browns' owners Dee and Jimmy Haslam, the Pro-Bowl running back will have to earn his place on Freddie Kitchens' squad upon serving his eight-game suspension.

“We know that Kareem has work to do, and he is in counseling working really hard,” said Mrs. Haslam. “It is up to him. It truly is up to him. We have high expectations for our players.”
Speaking on the TMZ video, Dee said "I think you have to take the situation very, very, very seriously. And we spent a lot of time, and John Dorsey spent a lot of time with Kareem and felt like he has potential as a person which is obviously as important as a player. So, he needs to continue to work really hard to be part of our organization."

These quotes won't reassure the large population who feel that the former Toledo superstar shouldn't be allowed to play another down in the NFL. At the very least, however, we can be somewhat relieved that the Haslam's need to see real change in Hunt's behavior to add him to the roster long-term.
