The Boston Bruins forced a Game 7 in the 2019 Stanley Cup Finals with a 5-1 victory in Game 6 in St. Louis. The Bruins and the Blues will meet on Wednesday night for the Stanley Cup at TD Garden, as history is on the line.

Blues rookie goalkeeper Jordan Binnington has played great so far in his short career, and despite an up-and-down postseason, he still finds himself on the precipice of joining NHL history should he pull off a few feats on the ice in Game 7.

With a victory for the St. Louis Blues, Binnington would break the record for most wins in one playoff year by a rookie goaltender. Along with that, the Blues' young goalie could become the NHL's all-time leading rookie for playoff appearances. Binnington is also just 42 minutes away from most minutes played by a rookie goalie in a single playoff year.

If the Blues were to win the Stanley Cup, Binnington would tie the record for most wins following a loss in a single playoffs. And if the Bruins somehow fire off 60 shots on Binnington, he would break the record for most shots faced by a rookie goaltender in a single playoff year. If he were to stop at least 52 shots in Game 7, he would break the record for the most saves by a rookie goalie in a single playoffs.

Among some less than desirable records he could set on Wednesday include, if he were to let up eight goals, he'd have surrendered the most goals by a rookie goalie in a single playoff year. Furthermore, if the Blues lose, the 25-year-old will have accumulated the most losses in a single playoffs by a rookie.

Binnington looks poised to make history, and while he's at risk of finding himself setting some unwelcome records, there are also a handful of impressive milestones he could achieve in Game 7.
