Woman Apologizes for Cooking Up Nelson Agholor Burner Account Conspiracy Without Evidence
By Ian Anderson

The accusations that flew around in recent days that Nelson Agholor was operating a burner account on Twitter turned out to be false. Show of hands if you're shocked!
The account in question, known by the handle @Efam33, had been all over Philadelphia Eagles Twitter defending the wide receiver from the onslaught of hate he was getting from Eagles fans after a crucial dropped ball against the Patriots. Now, the Philly sports podcaster who helped start the whole narrative is owning up to not having her facts straight.
Just to clear some things up from earlier today that got WAY out of hand. pic.twitter.com/xhzR3yWVES

Jessica Towne came forward in a tweet and stated that she was sorry for accusing the account of being an Agholor burner.
The whole thing got out of hand and took on a life of its own, and she's paying for it now.
This was the tweet that blew up outing the account:
There is SPECULATION going around that Nelson Agholor POSSIBLY has a burner account (@efam33.)
— Eagles Nation (5-5) (@PHLEaglesNation) November 21, 2019
Every tweet on the account is defending Agholor, and saying the blame of his struggles falls on Wentz. He even uses “us” in many cases.
What do you think? ?

The account became such big news that Agholor himself had to deny the accusations against him in a post-practice interview Thursday.
While there may have been some reason behind thinking that Agholor ran the account, there ultimately was no real evidence. There was subsequently no reason to continue to slander a receiver that gets enough stick as is. Chalk this one up in the L column for Towne.
