This particular halftime show was stunning, at the time, but now stands as...basically the final public spectacle we all shared before the spread of COVID took over the landscape, which is wild.

These behind-the-scenes shots feature everything you remember from the iconic show, minus the lingering tension of 49ers and Chiefs fans trying to prepare themselves for the second half. Remember how good that kid army was?! Well, it took WORK to get there, too.
